How can I use the library from home? 3/19

The Goodnow Library is closed until further notice.
We know that this is an inconvenience for many of you, but we believe that this is the best way to preserve the health and safety of the public and the staff.
The library staff will be available by phone (978-443-1035) and by email ([email protected]) from 9-5, Monday-Friday.
If you want to skip the recorded message and get directly to a person, here are some direct numbers you can use:
  • Circulation: 978-440-5530
  • Reference: 978-440-5520
  • Children’s: 978-440-5540
If you’re not sure which number is best for your question, don’t worry—we’ll happily transfer you to the right department! If no one picks up, please leave a voice mail. We will get back to you.
During the two-week closing, our book drops will be open. If, however, you have been exposed to COVID-19, or are exhibiting symptoms, please hold onto your library materials until you are well and out of quarantine. The library will waive your overdue fines and extend due dates. Please don’t worry about fines. This applies even if you simply feel safer staying home.
We have many links to eBooks, eAudio, streaming video and more. We also have links to activities for kids. Please visit our website goodnowlibrary.org for access.
Our childrens librarians will continue to livestream Music Makers and storytimes as long as it is feasible.
You must have a library card and pin number to access many of our services. If you are experiencing trouble with using our catalog or any of our digital library services, please call the library at 978-440-5520 and we will be happy to assist you.
