Restoration of Services, 5/19
Dear Goodnow Patrons,
I hope this message finds you safe and well, and we’re glad so many of you are using virtual library resources these days.
Our restoration of services plan is underway, and includes contactless pickup. We know it will be a popular service, and we’re committed to getting it right for the safety of our staff and the community. We appreciate your patience as we work through the details. And those library materials you’ve kept and/or traded with friends and neighbors since March 12? You can hold on to them a little longer—everything is now due on June 30—or you can return them now if you wish. The free-standing book drop is closed, but the one in the side of the building is open. Materials are being held until they can be safely checked in, so don’t worry if they’re still showing up on your account.
We are unable to accept donations now or in the foreseeable future, and we will let you know when that changes.
Virtual programming continues, including Summer Reading programs for readers of all ages.
Please keep an eye out for more announcements as we work on restoring services.
Stay safe and connected,
