A Community of Readers:
A Public Art Project
Join us Wednesday, September 21! Join the Sudbury Art Association and MetroWest Readers Fest for “A Community of Readers: A Public Art Project.” Stop by the Goodnow Library Community Room anytime between 12:30 and 3:30 pm on Wednesday, September 21 to help us create a public art project celebrating home, community, and reading as part of MetroWest Readers Fest’s ONE*.

This is an all-ages project; no artistic experience necessary! Our goal is to create a piece that will be permanently installed at Goodnow. YOU are a part of our community: Come make your mark!

*ONE is MetroWest Readers Fest’s second annual regional community-wide read.. The title for this year’s initiative is Thank You, Mr. Nixon, a short story collection by the acclaimed writer Gish Jen. In addition to the capstone event with Gish Jen on Thursday, October 6 @ 7pm at Goodnow Library (with an option to tune in virtually), libraries and community organizations from around the region are participating by planning book discussions or complementary events. A current schedule of all events related to ONE can be found at metrowestreadersfest.org and will be continually updated.
