Welcome to Summer Reading

The Tween and Teen Summer Reading Program, for rising 6th-12th graders!


Here’s how it works:

  • Register Online:  Visit goodnowlibrary.beanstack.org and sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge! Already registered for a previous challenge? Login with the same account information to sign up for our Summer Challenge! Want to use your phone or tablet? Download the free Beanstack app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store to track your Summer Reading activity on-the-go.
  • Grab a Free Welcome Bag From the Teen Room, While Supplies Last: This bag will contain a few fun treats to get you in the summer reading spirit.
  • Track Reading, Earn Badges & Win Prizes:  Track your reading and earn virtual reading badges! Read and log your reading at least once a week to be entered into a weekly drawing of a $10 gift card to Dunkin’. Read for 11 hours to be entered for the grand prize drawing of a $50 Amazon gift card!

Program runs from Thursday, June 15 to Friday, August 11

Summer Activities & Programs

School Summer Reading

Curtis Middle School

There is no required summer title, though students are expected to read at least three books. Massachusetts Children’s Book Award (MCBA) and Massachusetts Teen Choice Book Award (MTCBA) nominee lists are also a great source, and we have both collections of these titles available at Goodnow.

Summer 2023 reading requirements for LSRHS students are below, please note that copies of these titles will be available at Goodnow to check out on a first-come, first-served basis.
