The Goodnow Library encourages exhibitions and displays of paintings, photographs, crafts, sculpture, and other works of art that would be of interest to the community. The criterion for exhibitions is consistent with that of the resources and services offered by the Library: to satisfy the wide variety of historical, cultural, social, and educational interests of the community.
Five areas in the Library are available for exhibition: the McQueen Gallery, The Community Room, The Atkinson Wing Ramp, and two display cases.
The Library accepts requests for exhibits on an ongoing basis. Exhibits are generally scheduled for one month. New exhibits are hung on or near the first day of the month and taken down near the end of the month.
Artists interested in exhibiting are advised to read the Guidelines for Exhibit Spaces before submitting an Exhibit Request Form.
